Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has called on Ghanaians to unite for the collective advancement of the nation.
As the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), he acknowledged Ghana's significant achievements over the past 67 years.
However, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that there are still more milestones to be reached for a better Ghana.
On the occasion of the 67th Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, March 6, he extended congratulations to all Ghanaians.
"So much has been achieved, so much to be accomplished. With unity and one purpose, it is possible, we can build a brighter Ghana for all citizens and the next generation," he said.

About Ghana's 67th Independence Day Celebration
Ghana marked its 67th Independence Day on Wednesday with a grand national parade held in Koforidua, Eastern Region.
The ceremony had in attendance President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Speaker of Parliament, and various diplomats, including Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara, who served as the guest speaker.
Additionally, parades were organised at local levels by Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies across the country.
The national celebration in Koforidua was particularly vibrant, featuring participants from nine public and private basic schools, as well as some prominent Senior High Schools within the Municipality.
The event, themed "Our Democracy, Our Pride," took place at the newly inaugurated Koforidua Youth Resource Center, a facility capable of accommodating 5,000 attendees.
