Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea has officially announced the appointment of Samuel Boadu as their new head coach.
The former Hearts of Oak man replaces Christopher Ennin at the club until the end of the season.
A statement on the club's social media page read, "We officially announce the appointment of Mr Samuel Boadu, as the new gaffer of the club."
"Coach Boadu brings on board his rich experience and expertise."
His first game will be on Sunday, March 10, 2024, when Chelsea host Accra Lions at home.
Boadu, who led Hearts of Oak to three titles in his first full season, had been managing Kumasi Cornerstone since leaving the club in September 2022.
With Boadu at the helm, Chelsea hopes to improve their position in the Premier League season.
They are now sixth in the league standings, five points behind league leaders Samartex, with 15 games remaining in the season.
