CCTV footage circulating on social media depicts a harrowing event involving armed robbers attacking passengers and the driver of a 2M Express bus along the Accra-Kumasi highway.
The incident, occurring during the night, captures the tense moment when the assailants threatened the victims with gunfire.
The bus's onboard cameras recorded the entire ordeal, including the sound of gunshots. According to the footage, the bus was trailing another vehicle when it suddenly halted, prompting individuals from that vehicle to flee as gunshots rang out.
In a frantic attempt to evade the danger, the bus driver swiftly reversed until finding a safe location on the road.
Passengers can be seen taking cover within the bus, trying to shield themselves from potential harm.
