Aquimiini is pleased to announce the development of the Ghud Park project, a collaborative venture with the esteemed Accra Mall.
This groundbreaking initiative seeks to redefine the urban landscape, establishing a dynamic and vibrant space for community engagement, connectivity, and celebration.
The city of Accra lacks a crucial feature: a green, modern, eco-friendly family fun park.
Aquimiini, as well as the Owusu-Akyaw family, partners of Accra Mall, have always envisioned providing such a facility to Ghanaians.
Situated on the Accra Mall premises, the Ghud Park project represents a union of expertise and innovation, aiming to revolutionize leisure and entertainment experiences in Accra.
This endeavour amalgamates the strengths of Aquimiini and Accra Mall to create a multifaceted destination catering to diverse interests.
The key sections of the park will include a grassed area for events, a skating rink and children’s playground, a container bar, stalls, and seating area, an open plaza area and a car park.
Ghud Park and its collaborators are committed to actively supporting a quarter of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The establishment, administration, and functioning of Ghud Park align with the following four SDGs enhancing health and promoting well-being (SDG 3), ensuring quality education (SDG 4), fostering sustainability within urban environments and communities (SDG 11) and cultivating partnerships to achieve overarching goals (SDG 17).
While the official inauguration of Ghud Park is scheduled for May 2024, the group is thrilled to announce a series of outdoor events that will take place at the park before the launch.
These events will serve as a prelude, offering the community an exclusive glimpse into the potential and excitement the park promises.
By synergizing the expertise of Aquimiini with the established presence of Accra Mall, the project aspires to create an unparalleled destination that transcends conventional boundaries.
"This project underscores our unwavering dedication to crafting spaces that foster community, culture, and connection.
"We eagerly anticipate welcoming everyone to the official opening in May 2024," president of Ghud Park, Kenneth Owusu-Akyaw.
