Tariq Lamptey made a winning return to the Premier League as Brighton and Hove Albion dispatched Crystal Palace.
Lamptey created the second goal as Brighton scored three first-half goals in a comprehensive 4-1 win.
Brighton opened the scoring after five minutes when Lewis Dunk rose highest to head home a Pascal Gross corner.
Roberto de Zerbi's side pressed home their advantage in the 33rd minute when Tariq Lamptey's inch-perfect cross was met by Jack Hinshelwood at the back post.
Before Palace could make sense of what was happening, Gross set up Facundo Buonanotte who made no mistake from close range.
Palace gave themselves hope of a possible comeback when Jean-Philippe Mateta with 20 minutes to go.
However, any chance of a comeback was quickly dismissed when Joao Pedro restored the three-goal lead late in the game.
