The NPP Loyal Ladies have extended congratulations to successful parliamentary candidates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) nationwide, and encouraged them to embrace humility and grace as they gear up for the 2024 elections.
The NPP held its parliamentary primaries on Saturday, December 27, 2023, to elect parliamentary candidates in orphan constituencies.
The Electoral Commission (EC) oversaw the elections.
Among the notable winners were Nii Noi Nortey and Jefferson Sackey in the Klottey Korle and Ablekuma Central Constituencies, respectively. Colonel Kwadwo Damoah, former Commissioner of the Customs Division at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), secured victory in the Jaman South Constituency.
Pius Enam Hadzide, Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), emerged victorious in the Asuogyaman parliamentary primary.
Barbara Oteng Gyasi clinched victory in the Prestea Huni Valley parliamentary primary, while Abdul Manaf Nii Adjei Sowah triumphed in the Odododiodioo primary.
In a press statement, the NPP Loyal Ladies said that these victories reflect the party's confidence in the candidates and urged them not to disappoint.
