Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd has established its presence in the Bono Region of Ghana by opening a branch in Sunyani this month to serve businesses, workers and residents of Sunyani.
The newly opened branch is located at the Central Area Sector 2 Block C, Plot No.38, opposite the Greenlight Pharmacy.
It is set to offer swift, convenient universal banking services to individuals and businesses within the Berekum, Dormaa, Duayaw Nwanta, Sampa and Wenchi enclaves.
Divisional Head of Corporate Communication and Experience at GTBank, Agnes Owusu-Afram, said establishing a branch in Sunyani answered several calls from the Bank’s customers.
“For years, our customers have demanded that we open a branch in Sunyani as they had to travel to Techiman to access our banking services. We listened and now we have opened this branch.
"We are calling on our customers and the general public to visit us and experience our bouquet of personalised products and services that will help them and their businesses grow.”
She further stated, “Aside from the main branch operations, we have also introduced our agency banking service, GTExpress, which is a partnership we have with existing registered businesses to enable them to carry out basic banking services such as account opening, deposits and withdrawals, utility bill payments, mobile money transactions and many more at their premises.
"We are calling on businesses in Sunyani and other nearby towns to partner with us and extend our services to patrons who work or reside in areas where there is no branch.”
Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd, in its 17 years of operations, has established itself as a pacesetter in the financial services industry, delivering superior quality services to customers through its branch networks and diverse electronic channels which allow customers to conveniently bank anytime and from anywhere.
The Bank has received numerous local and international recognitions including 5-Stars in Customer Satisfaction (Business Banking), 5-Stars in Service Quality (Business Banking), 5-Stars in Service Quality (Consumer Banking) and 5-Stars in Customer Satisfaction (Consumer Banking) at the 2023 Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) Annual National Awards
