Legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, 2Baba has described himself as an ‘upcoming artist’ when compared with the new artistes in the Nigerian music space.
Credited with hits like African Queen, he is regarded as one of those who contributed in the early stages to making Afrobeat what it is today.
However, in recent times, with fewer records, 2Baba has received lesser attention compared to raves of the moment like Asake, Rema, Omah Lay and a host of others.
And for him, this has played a part in him becoming an ‘upcoming artist’
