Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy has bragged about his status in the music industry.
The City Boy crooner stated he has no interest in being classified among the big 3.
According to him, there there is no such thing as the ‘big 3’ but only the ‘big 2’ and then there’s him.
“Next time anybody tells you about anything called the ‘big 3’, tell them there’s only the ‘big 2’ and then, there’s Burna Boy,” he said at a concert.
Burna’s comment has since sparked conflicting reactions with music fans divided on whom the afro beats singer must be referring to as the ‘Big 2’.
Recall in July 2023, Burna Boy made history as the first African singer to sell out a stadium show in the United States of America.
Pls next time anybody tells you about anything called the “big 3”, tell them there’s only the “big 2” and then, there’s Burna Boy.

The ‘Last Last’ crooner sold out the 41,000-capacity Citi Field Stadium in NYC, USA.
Performing at the event was Burna Boy’s sister, Nissi who gave an opening rendition at the concert.
The self-styled ‘African Giant’ also brought out British rapper, Dave to perform their collaborative song ‘Location.’
He performed ‘Ye’ and songs from his last four albums; ‘Outside’, ‘African Giant’, ‘Twice As Tall’, and ‘Love Damini’.
