On Monday, the general public gained access to an exhibition dedicated to the renowned rapper, Sarkodie.
The purpose of this exhibition is to showcase Sarkodie's musical journey and to commemorate his legacy in the Ghana music industry, which spans nearly two decades.
JoyNews' Doreen Avio, Nigerian media personality, Adesope Olajide and famous photographers TwinsDon'tBeg visited the exhibition where they explored the history of Sarkodie.
Titled "The Rebirth: A Decade of Rapperholic Exhibition," the showcase had different segments.
The first room meticulously chronicles Sarkodie's evolution from a young and talented artist to the megastar he has become today. It also includes personal letters from his mother, brother, and wife, offering an intimate glimpse into his life.
Another room is devoted to Sarkodie's iconic outfits, show memorabilia, caps, and photographs from some of his historic performances, including moments from the BET Awards.
A separate space is dedicated to showcasing the impressive collection of 118 awards Sarkodie has garnered over the ten years of his music career, accompanied by a table displaying images from various award shows.
Within the exhibition, visitors will find a touching message written by Sarkodie to his fans, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support throughout his career.
Additionally, there is a display of recording instruments he used to create some of his most significant hits. The exhibition also features a room highlighting Sarkodie's foundation, managed by his wife, Tracy.
The organisers explained that Sarkodie, known for his commitment to branding, foresaw the importance of documenting the pivotal moments that shaped his career, making these artefacts available for the exhibition.
