After the final whistle at the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday, optimism went high among the Black Queens as they chased a return to the Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana had beaten Namibia in the first leg of the final round of qualifiers for the 2024 edition, claiming a 3-1 victory in Accra.
The scoreline may seem as comfortable as it appeared but the performance on the pitch could have been better and it wasn't due to missed chances.
A brace from Doris Boaduwaa with a Portia Boakye stunner in between snatched victory for Nora Hauptle's side in the first encounter. The disappointment from that fixture was Ghana conceding for the first time under the Swiss trainer since she took over in January.
However, on Tuesday, December 5, the two teams will go head-to-head once again with the desire to take up the ticket to Morocco next year.
The Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria will be the centre of attraction and the venue that will see the two teams have a go at each other.
Namibia's head coach, Woody Jacobs, says if his side is to surrender defeat against the Queens, they would need to make it a difficult one for Ghana.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 13:00 GMT.
The Ghana senior women's national team know they are not far off from their objective of returning to the continental showpiece.
However, they will need to avoid complacency and ensure they take the chances as and when they come their way.
Hauptle spoke to the team's media after their last training session and is confident of her side's chances against Nambia in Pretoria.
