It encompasses spaces for formal lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and workshops, symbolising a commitment to comprehensive agricultural education.
Beyond the traditional educational setup, the institute incorporates a forward-thinking approach. Recognising the challenges faced by young mothers, a creche has been established to enable them to pursue knowledge without compromising their maternal responsibilities.
Additionally, the inclusion of a cafeteria and a practical demonstration farm underscores the practicality and sustainability at the core of Siriboe's vision.
Addressing the audience at the inauguration, Dr Bawumia emphasised the evolving landscape of agriculture.
He stressed that the future of farming no longer revolves solely around traditional tools but demands integration with emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things.
Aligning with the principles of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the Vice President highlighted the importance of making agriculture appealing to the new generation through smart practices.
Nana Yaw Sarpong Siriboe's initiative stands as a beacon of inspiration, showcasing how individual dedication and innovation can drive positive change in the agricultural sector.
The Siriboe Institute of Agribusiness and Skills Development is poised to become a transformative hub, shaping the future of agriculture in Ghana and setting an example for sustainable development in the 21st century.
