Medeama head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, says he is not threatened by the pedigree of Al Ahly ahead of their group stage clash in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.
The Yellow and Mauves will take on the Red Devils on Saturday night at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo in their first-ever game in the premiere African club competition.
The former Ghana U17 women’s national team coach claims nothing threatens him as a coach and is looking forward to a packed stadium for the game.
“Nothing threatens me. I am one coach who never feels threatened. I would like to see Al Ahly fans packed at the stadium. I am used to such atmosphere.”
Medeama arrived in Cairo on Wednesday night and held their first training session about 24 hours later before wrapping up preparations on Friday night.
The game is set to kick off at 7 pm on Saturday.
