The revelers at the 2023 edition of Edemfest at Ho were all agog for budding songstress Mercy Nana Afua Renner when she mounted the stage on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
Adorned in blue-and-white shorts and a shirt, Renner performed a string of songs from her repertoire including some songs from her latest EP, ‘Never Stop Try.’
Adept at her stagecraft, Renner engaged the audience while dishing out the great tunes at the programme.
The spellbinding moment was when she interacted with them in the Ewe language, making them feel part of the performance.
Edemfest organised by versatile Ghanaian artiste Edem Goget’em was held at the Ho Jubilee Park.
This year’s event pulled over fifty thousand (50,000) patrons to wit Edem perform with an octet band and three backing vocalists. They were supported by MixMaster Garzy and the Goget’em Band.
Other performers were Epixode, Tinny, Kelvynboy, Jupitar, and DJ Lord.
According to Edem, he was more enthused about giving fans an experience that will make up for all the postponement that were when COVID-19 broke.
Renner is managed RNY Music led by Iddriss Yussif.
