Star Assurance, a leading insurance provider in Ghana, has partnered with Rabito Clinic to organise a free health screening and NHIS registration at its Kokomlemle branch for customers and residents around Kokomlemle and its neighbouring communities.
The gesture was part of activities to mark ‘Customer Service Week’ and ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month.’
The event, dubbed "The Star Experience: Solid Partnership Beyond Service," was part of Star Assurance's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, which aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the community in which they operate.
Prior to the Kokomlemle event, Star Assurance had organised similar breast and health screening events at seven other branches across the country. These events attracted a large number of participants and were well-received by the communities they served.
The Kokomlemle event was no exception, with a large turnout of residents eager to take advantage of the free services. Participants were offered free breast screening, general health screening, and free NHIS registration.
The event was a resounding success, demonstrating Star Assurance's commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. The company's partnership with Rabito Clinic was crucial in ensuring the event's success, providing the necessary medical expertise and resources to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the community.
Star Assurance is committed to continuing its CSR initiatives and making a positive impact on the lives of Ghanaians. Through its various CSR programmes, the company aims to promote health and well-being, support education, and empower communities.
The company's dedication to CSR is exemplified by the event's tagline, " The Star Experience: Solid Partnership Beyond Service," which underscores its commitment to going beyond providing insurance services and making a real difference in the lives of Ghanaians.
Star Assurance's partnership with Rabito Clinic and the success of the Kokomlemle health screening event are testaments to the company's unwavering commitment to CSR and its mission to make a positive impact on the Ghanaian community.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed excitement at the gesture by Star Assurance and urged other corporate entities to emulate it.
