The 2023 edition of the CAF Women's Champions League (CAFWCL) kicked off on Sunday in Ivory Coast with two games being played in Group A.
Hosts Athletico FC Abidjan were in action against Morocco's Sporting Club Casablanca in Korhogo while South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns also engaged JKT Queens of Tanzania.
The Ivorian side looked certain to pick up their first three points of the competition after taking a first-half lead in their game against Casablanca through Esperance Agbo.
However, the visitors got the equaliser late in the game as N'Guessan Nadege Koffi scored nine minutes away from full time to tie the game.

In the other Group A fixture, goals from Lebogang Ramalepe and Refilwe Tholakele gave 2021 winners Sundowns a 2-0 victory over debutants JKT Queens.

The results see the Tanzanian side go bottom of the group after suffering defeat while Sundowns climb to the top of the table.
The competition continues on Monday, November 6, when Ghana's Ampem Darkoa Ladies will play defending Champions AS FAR Club in San Pedro.
The other Group B game will see Hurricanes FC come up against Mali's AS Mande.
