According to the Chairman of Vanguard Assurance, Daniel Awuah-Darko, businesses must be innovative in order to sustain their operations and withstand risks.

He was speaking at the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies’ Annual Business Conference organised by the Stanford Seed Transformation Network.

The Annual Business conference brought together distinguished business leaders and experts. The programme was to help share invaluable insights and their wealth of experiences.

Chairman of Vanguard Assurance, Daniel Awuah-Darko said with the many challenges faced by businesses, being innovative is critical to remaining afloat.

The President of Stanford Seed Transformation Network, Carl Richards added that the discussions are not just about business strategies but igniting a movement.

“One of our focus this year is health and wellness strategies which reflects our commitment to shaping leaders who not only drive business growth but also prioritise the health and wellness of their teams to bounce back from setbacks. Together, we are building a future where leadership is synonymous with empathy, growth is sustainable, and legacies are meaningful,” he added.

The Chief Executive of Type Company, Coby Asmah, added that businesses must continuously pursue value addition in order to grow.

The conference was held under the theme, “Balancing wellness, growth, and legacy: The complete Leaders Conversation”.

The conference was also aimed at empowering and inspiring business leaders to transform and growth their business with intergrity.
