Yet some of the supporters could not even face the cameras, burying their faces in their hands. This was supposed to be a walkover, but they are walking away with nothing to show but an embarrassing loss.
They are known to be very constant finalists but now, they have been sent into the trenches.

With 53 points St Louis Girls SHS beat the 2022 NSMQ finalists who accumulated 23 points throughout the contest - a shocking 30-point difference.
St Louis Girls had proved themselves when they led the contests from round one through to even the challenging riddles in round five.

Adisadel College has been eliminated in the ongoing National Science and Maths Quiz in a dramatic showdown.
Adisadel College has lost its seeded spot and they must now fight through regional qualifiers for a chance to return to the big stages in 2024.
