At the end of a stupefying contest, Kumasi Wesley Girls stunned Aduman SHS and the Northern School of Business in an unforeseen feat to book their seat.
Although a tight contest, the “Nnwuramma” secured a slot after putting up a masterful performance against their competitors.
In 2022, Kumasi Wesley Girls exited the competition at the preliminary stage after losing their contest with a negative digit.
WeyGeyHey has, however, staged a comeback into the 2023 competition aiming to clinch the ultimate prize after securing 42 points.
Northern School of Business came close with 35 points while Aduman SHS pulled 23 points.
Going into the eighth stage of the competition, the stakes are high for Kumasi Wesley Girls as they promise to become the first girls school to win the competition.
According to the ladies from Tafo, they are propitious of crossing the one-eight stage and subsequently making it into the finals.
