Social media users have expressed interest in the alleged $1 million offer purportedly made to #FixTheCountry convener, Osagyefo Oliver Barker-Vormawor.
Mr Barker-Vormawor in an interaction with the media on the sidelines of the #OcupyJulorbiHouse protest disclosed that a meeting occurred between him and National Security Minister, Albert Kan-Dapaah.
According to him, at the said meeting, he was offered $1 million by the Minister in an attempt to get him to stop his activism.
After the National Security Ministry released a statement to debunk the allegation on Friday, Mr Barker-Vormawor in an interview with Newsfile host on Joy News, Samson Lardy Anyenini, said he is ready to release the audio.
“I will release an audio into the public domain, which would confirm that the Minister invited me to a secret safe house location...that we should have an individual meeting between him and myself, at which meeting he made that offer to myself. No other FixThecountry convener was involved there,” Osagyefo Oliver Barker-Vormawor said.

A Sustainability, Climate and Social Innovation Advisor, also speaking on Joy News' Newsfile questioned why Mr Barker-Wormawor has waited for two years before making such a disclosure.
Enam Akoetey challenged the activist not only to make allegations but also to provide evidence.
“There are a lot of claims going out, and I am saying that they are all about integrity. If you are saying that a lot of people called you to say that don’t publish something, the question is, if you are a person that is value-driven, would you listen to them or say, ‘I hear what you are asking me to do, but it is the wrong thing so I am going to defy you and publish’”.
