Dreams FC beat FC Kallon 2-1 in the first leg of their 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
John Antwi’s second-half penalty means the Still Believe lads will go into the reverse fixture against the Sierra Leone side with a slim advantage.
Dreams FC took the lead through a Godfred Atuahene volley 12 minutes into the game and failed to convert a number of decent chances to extend their lead.
Kallon pegged back the Ghana FA Cup holders with a goal deep into first-half stoppage time to end the half 1-1.
Twelve minutes into the second half, the home side were awarded a penalty. Experienced striker, John Antwi stepped and converted it to restore the lead for Dreams FC.
