Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club sealed a place in the next round of qualifiers for the 2023/24 CAF Champions League following their win over Remo Stars.
Medeama, having lost 1-0 in the first meeting between the two sides last win at the Cape Coast Stadium, also suffered a 1-0 loss away from home.
The 1-0 result on Sunday meant the game had to be decided on penalties after a 1-1 aggregate scoreline.
The Yellow and Mauves then claimed a 3-2 victory in the shootouts to book a place in the next round.
Medeama are making their first appearance in the CAF Champions League, having previously competed in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2013 and 2015.
Medeama will now face Horoya Athletic Club of Guinea in the next round of qualifiers.
