Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced another round of updates on Threads.
This includes custom alternative text, the option to send Threads to IG DMs, a mention button on the profile and more.
Since the launch of Threads, the Instagram team has been listening to community feedback and is working as quickly as possible to continually deliver new features to improve people’s experience.
Now, users can Send on Instagram, an option to directly share a thread to Instagram DMs via the Send button.
Also, there is Custom Alt-Text which gives users the ability to add custom alt-text and edit the current auto-generated alt-text for photos and videos prior to posting.
Again, there is a new mention button to easily mention that account in the user's Thread.
"We also shipped the ability to sort your following list (by default, latest first, and earliest first) and see your liked posts last week! To view all posts you’ve liked in your settings - head to your profile, tap menu lines and select “Your likes,” Meta said.
