Right to Dream Academy successfully defended their Gothia Cup title following a 2-1 win over Swedish side AIF FF on Saturday, July 22.
The Ghana-based academy left it late to clinch the trophy for the second time in a row after last year’s success.
A 2-1 victory after full-time means Right to Dream have now won the competition for the seventh time in their history.
They won the competition for the first time in 2014 and successfully defended it in 2015. They won it three times on the bounce between 2017 and 2019 before laying their hands on it again in 2022.
