The National Lottery Authority has welcomed the entry of a new lottery gaming up expected to revolutionise lottery in Ghana.
Zeta Technologies Ltd, a Ghanaian software development company launched its highly anticipated MEGA6 Lotto game, ushering in a new era of digital lottery gaming in the country.
The launch event unveiled the innovative game and highlighted the unique features that set Mega6 apart from other industry players.
Speaking to Joybusiness at the launch, Director General of the NLA, Sammy Awuku hinted of plans to open up the lottery third party space to other Ghanaian entrepreneurs to take advantage of the game.
He is confidence that the revenue being generated from the game could be useful to stakeholders in building more business ventures.
“We are working on getting our players to be business minded so that they can use the funds for some business ventures and make the game profitable".
"We at the NLA are looking at building an advisory unit that will give counsel to winners of the game so that they can be able to use the funds judiciously in order for it to be a testament of the goodwill of lottery” he said.
At the launch, attendees had the opportunity to witness a live demonstration of the MEGA6 Lotto game while engaging with representatives of both Zeta Technology and the National Lottery Authority (NLA) who provide regulatory oversight for the game.
