The South African National Democratic Congress Council of Elders Chair and the Group Chairman for Allied Consortiums, Benjamin Kofi Quashie has indicated that the party would give Ghanaians a message of hope going into the 2024 elections.

He said the party's message resonate with the Ghanaian people and seeks to redeem them from the current economic mess.

Speaking on 'Epa Ho A Daben' show on Accra -based Happy FM, the SA NDC chairman, claimed that, it would not be a message for just winning elections but one that is redeemable.

When his attention was drawn to the fact that politicians normally promise and do not deliver, he assured, "We've learnt our lessons in opposition and we have a leader who wants to rally everyone around to build a better Ghana that we all want together", he stated.

"The focus would be 'building together'. We wouldn't be selective and be focusing on friends and family, cronies here and there but, building it together," Mr Quashie emphasised.

When he was further quizzed on whether the NDC will use known NPP members to help them in building the Ghana we want, he answered in the affirmative.

"This is common knowledge. The Senchi consensus brought everyone on board to solicit ideas to help our country then. The likes of Kwame Pianim and other learned people from the opposition with regards to the economy were there," he stressed.

According to him, this is possible because for President Mahama, per his assessment, is an all-inclusive person and would consult anyone who has ideas to help salvage our fortunes.

"Like he (President Mahama) says, we'll need to be patriotic. We find ourselves in a ditch, let's all come out of it together," he shared, in reference to President Mahama's all inclusive nature.

In his opinion, President Mahama is not going to be adamant and ignore sane suggestions from others but, would coalesce such ideas to build a better Ghana for us to enjoy
