The Wife of former President Amissah Arthur, Matilda Amissah Arthur joined hundreds of mourners on Tuesday, July 11, to commiserate with the bereaved family of Ga Manye, Naa Dedei Omaedru lll and chiefs and elders of the Ga Traditional Council.
The late Ga Manye Naa Dedei Omaedru III died on December 26th, 2022.
After exchanging pleasantries with the chiefs and elders of the Ga Traditional Council on Tuesday, July 11, Matilda Amissah Arthur signed the book of condolence in Accra.
She assured the elders of the Ga Mantse Palace not to hesitate to notify her of the funeral arrangements for the deceased.

"I am here to mourn with you for this great loss. Don't hesitate to let me know about arrangements for the funeral, and l promise to offer any form of assistance to give our sister, mother and friend a befitting funeral," she said.
The Chiefs and elders appreciated Madam Amissah Arthur for the gesture.
Ga Manye Naa Dedei Omaedru lll was installed in 1963 when she was 29.
She passed away at her Dansoman residence in Accra, surrounded by her loved ones, on December 26, 2022.
During her reign, Naa Omaedru was credited for selflessly devoting her life to public and voluntary service and championing important issues crucial to peace, education and opportunities for young people, especially the girl-child.
These included seeking the welfare of the girl-child and women to safeguard their future, setting a remarkable example of leadership to queen mothers in the Ga State.
The deceased paramount queen of the Ga state was 88.
