It was an electric and exhilarating atmosphere at the Aviation Social Center, as it witnessed over 3,000 individuals throng the venue for this year’s ‘Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey’ event.
The annual event known for its past successful editions was hosted by several presenters from the Joy Cluster of the Multimedia Group Limited.
Notable amongst them were; sports anchor Nathaniel Attoh, host of the ‘Cruise Control’ on Hitz FM, Mequry Quaye, Doreen Avio, Naa Adjeley Doku, Nana Qwame Larbi, and a host of others.
Supporters and fans of various football clubs, also arrived at the venue in their club paraphernalia and jerseys, to participate in a series of fun-filled activities.
These included; a 5-a-side football competition, table tennis, eating competition, video games and a quiz competition, to test how well participating patrons knew their sports.
Winners of the various competitions were rewarded with enviable product rewards such as flat-screen televisions, fridges, home theatre sets, blenders, cash prizes and other souvenirs from sponsors.
One of the event’s highlights was the teeming excited crowd, who despite heavy rains, could be seen holding umbrellas, dancing their hearts away.
To crown the day later in the evening, patrons were treated to a giant screen viewing experience of the UEFA Champions League final between Inter Milan and Manchester City.
It ended in a 1-0 win against Inter Milan.
