Speaking to Joy Business at the commissioning of an Interim Executives for the yet to be launched Association of Ghana Start-ups, Solomon Adjei, said data is key to the development of the SME eco-system.
“Data is key and that’s one of the key things that we are doing. We want to know who is a start-up in the country and where are you located? And also, if you are a developing partner what do you have to offer”.
“We going to create central data system for start-up eco-system”, Mr. Adjei added.
The Association also launched the Start-up Echo Magazine to showcase the gains of SME’s in the country.
“This will create the platform that will showcase the start-ups and the players and what they are doing. And we talking about visibility. This is going to consolidate all the gains in every quarter and we will publish it and distribute it free of charge in both digital and hard copy”
The Ghana Start-Up Stakeholders Assembly brought together players in the eco-system to collaborate, innovate and invest together to compete globally.
