Ghana international Tariqe Fosu was on target in the English Championship for the first time this season as Rotherham United defeated West Bromwich Albion.
The 27-year-old scored the final goal in his side's 3-1 win over West Brom at home to move up the league table.
The Millers went behind in the early part of the game against West Brom but a brace from Jordan Hugill and a third from Tariqe ensured the home side took all three points.
The goal was the Ghanaian's first of the current campaign having already registered three assists in his previous 31 games.
Speaking after the game, Tariqe said the squad was determined to seal victory against their rivals in Friday's encounter.
"We have been positive the whole of this week in training. We expected the game to be how it was, and backed ourselves to win this game, especially at home with the fans behind us," he said.
"It wasn't easy but it has come true."
The win sees Rotherham move three points above the relegation zone as they hope to avoid the drop at the end of the campaign.
