Ghana President John Dramani Mahama has told the Ghana Football Association to pay some more attention to the other national teams even if they hold the Black Stars in high regard.
The GFA is noted for spending majority of its resources on the Black Stars to the detriment of the other national teams.
President John Dramani Mahama noted in his State of the Nation address that the Ghana FA must pay some more attention to the other national teams, just like it does for the Black Stars.
"Let me urge the Ghana Football Association to put a lot more focus on the other national teams...; in other to adequately prepare them for their international competitions as well," he said.
"On the development of sports infrastructure, Mr. Speaker, I am happy to inform you that work is progressing speedily on the Cape Coast stadium and is expected to be completed this year (2015)."
He further mentioned that government will partner with corporate institutions to support the programs of the various sporting associations this year.
