Ghana's all-time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan' has paid a glowing tribute to late Black Stars winger, Christian Atsu, following the latter's final funeral rites on Friday, March 17.
Gyan and the former Chelsea winger made a good team during their time together while playing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil despite Ghana's challenges.
The duo were also intimately connected when the Black Stars placed second at the 2015 AFCON which was played in Equatorial Guinea.
Gyan, in his touching tribute, recounted his encounter with the 31-year-old.

Atsu was a victim of the devastating earthquake on February 6, 2023, which claimed over 41,000 lives.
The Ghanaian's lifeless body was recovered 12 days after the disaster.
