The Dutor of Anlo Kingdom, Torgbuiga Wenya III has urged residents of Anlo to put their differences aside and work for the common good of the land.
This, he noted, is because every state needs development to make it better and for the betterment of its citizens both at home and abroad.
Torgbuiga Wenya III made the comments during an inauguration of the Governing Council of elders and a press conference held in his Palace at Tegbi after he won a court case filed against him as the Dutor of Anlo Kingdom.
Torgbuiga Wenya III noted that a lot happened during the preparations towards his coronation with the Mamagah Abui Buiekpor II of Anlo.
He expressed happiness and gratitude to God that everything is working well and that will help move the Anlo Kingdom forward.
Torgbuiga Wenya III stated that there is a need for the Anlo Kingdom to come together in unity and develop the land.
“I am calling on all chiefs, traditional leaders and citizens of Anlo, home and abroad to come together in unity, so that we can develop our dear Anlo Kingdom,” Torgbuigah Wenya added.
Nine months ago, the Dutor of Anlo State was challenged in court by some traditional leaders for alleged wrongful installation which was held in Tegbi.
Some residents who spoke to the media expressed joy at Torgbui Wenya's victory and the call for unity among them and expressed hope that the move will bring great achievements and development to the Anlo Kingdom.
Present at the ceremony were the Queen mother of Anlo, Mamagah Abui Bueikpor II, Torgbui Addo of Klikor and a host of Chiefs and Queens of the Anlo Kingdom.
