Highlife musician Akwaboah has released a song in honour of late Black Stars player Christian Atsu.
In the song, titled 'Ride On', Akwaboah pays a glowing tribute to the late footballer who passed away as a victim of the earthquake in Turkey.
The 'Obiaa' hitmaker noted that although Christian Atsu may be dead, he continues to live in the hearts of the people that knew and loved him.
Akwaboah noted that the masses will not forget who the winger was or what he meant to the many people whose lives he touched.
“Ride on, Ride on, brother to heaven where you belong. Ride on, ride on, brother you’re forever in our hearts,” Akwaboah said.
Christian Atsu was a victim of the devastating Turkish earthquake that happened on February 6, killing thousands.
His club, Hatayspor, confirmed his death on Sunday, February 19, nearly two weeks after the earthquake.
He was 31.
His body was received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and his family at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday.
