Outstanding Local foods producer, Royal Vina Foods has donated some significant amounts of products to the less privileged new mothers at the 37 Military Hospital and some low income traders at the Makola markets as part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS).
The items donated, which include Royal Vina Rice, T shirts , classic Coconut oil, Brown Sugar, Honey, among others are aimed at helping the beneficiaries.
Speaking to journalists. the CEO of Royal Vina Foods, Davina Sheilla Mensah said, the kind gesture is to share love across the society during this Valentine’s season.
According to her, the company will continue to work hard to ensure the consumption of local foods.
"I am very glad we put smiles on faces. As an entity, our goal is to ensure that Made in Ghana foods remain dominant among others", she said.
Ms. Mensah took the opportunity to call on government to support local producers with some financial support and other resources to enhance productivity and promote employment among the youth.
She urged citizens to also continue consuming Made in Ghana foods for good health and vitality.
Ms. Mensah last year won the Entrepreneur of the Year at the fourth edition of the Youth Excellence Awards (YEA) and the Most Promising CEO of the Year at the Global Business and Entrepreneurship Summit and Awards.
Royal Vina food is a Ghanaian Food product entity that deals in the production of Ghana brown rice, Ghana white rice, Pure honey, brown sugar and coconut oil.
