The family of the late musician Ebony paid her a visit at the Osu cemetery on her fifth death anniversary.
Present at the cemetery on Wednesday, February 8, were her father, Starboy Kwarteng, her mother, Beatrice Oppong Martin, her sister Happy Foriwaa Kwarteng and other family members.
The family’s activities at Ebony’s grave included laying wreaths and saying a prayer. They also delivered some speeches.
Ebony’s father was seemingly emotional at the little family gathering, During his speech, he struggled to speak or hold back his tears while he addressed his late daughter.
The singer’s sister also shed some tears stating that she would have preferred things happened differently “if I had my way.”
However, she understands God gives lives and he takes “who am I to question the maker?”
While the family visited Ebony’s grave, Ghaians took to social media to mourn her loss.

On February 8, 2018, Ghanaians were hit with the news of late Rufftown Records signee Ebony’s death.
The sensational singer, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, died in a fatal road accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
She was travelling to Accra after visiting her mother in the Bono Region.
On her journey, a Jeep with the registration number AS 497-16 she was travelling in had a head-on collision with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi.
Ebony passed away alongside two other persons, her friend only identified as Frankie and a military officer identified as Francis Atsu Vondee. However, the driver of the vehicle escaped death.
The ‘Kupe’ hitmaker was laid to rest on March 24, 2018, at the Osu Cemetery.
