Members of a group calling itself the Concern Students Association of the University of Ghana have taken to the streets today in a demonstration dubbed, 'Ya Br3 Mo' (We are tired of you).
The demonstration, they said, is to register their displeasure with several decisions taken by the University Management in recent times. Some of these include; the over 30% fee increment, accommodation problems, among others.
Some inscriptions on their placards are; "VC Must Go, Build more Hostels on Campus, Practice the Democracy you Preach, Reinstate the Residents of Commonwealth Hall," among others.
The protestors are marching from the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange (Circle) to the Independence Square to present their petition to Management of the University.
