Johnnie Walker Master Brewer, Emma Walker, recently hosted a virtual Roundtable for media personalities and Influencers from around the world.
The event was designed to give these key opinion leaders a behind-the-scenes look at the process of making whisky, as well as an opportunity to sample some of the world's most exclusive whiskies.
During the event, Emma shared her passion for whisky and highlighted some of the unique aspects of Johnnie Walker Black Label that make it one of the most popular brands in the world.
The participants were extremely impressed with Emma's knowledge and enthusiasm, and they left with a greater appreciation for both Johnnie Walker and whisky in general.
Each of the whiskies tasted during the session came from a different region of Scotland – Lowland (Glenkinchie), Speyside (Cardhu), Islay (Caol Ila), and Highland (Clynelish). Participants shared their thoughts on each whisky, highlighting both its characteristics as well as how it compared to other Scotch whiskies they had tried.
The group discussed everything from the different types of whisky to the process of making it. They also shared their thoughts on the future of whisky and how Johnnie Walker plans to continue innovating in this ever-changing industry.
