Joseph Nii Armah was re-elected as the Chairman of Ghana Tennis Club, Adabraka. He will hold office for a second term, after elections held at their clubhouse on Friday, January 20.
Nii Armah went unopposed; as members of the club displayed confidence in his leadership - vesting him with another tenure.
Other executive members to help him steer the affairs of the club are, businessman Mr. Eric Kwame Nyarko (Vice Chairman) who takes over from Henry Boni Quarshie - board Member of Ghana Tennis Federation. Derrick Ewudzie-Odoom,, a health finance specialist and banker, assumes the role of secretary (Secretary), Richard Obeng is now the GTC's treasurer, while Aaron Eggley becomes the captain of the club.
Meanwhile, the club's tennis courts have seen enormous transformation after their renovation and the installation of floodlights with signage at the main gate.
Speaking to ghanatennis.org Chairman Nii Armah said, I have unfinished business with the club. You know, since I took over from Dr. Abraham Oppong as the chairman, there has been a lot of infrastructural development and membership too has increased."
“My aim is to uplift this great club to the highest realm it belongs" Chairman Nii Armah stressed.
