The North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has taken on the Secretary of the National Cathedral Board of Trustees Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng, for alleged multiple identities.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show after revealing on Facebook that all was not well at the National Cathedral, the legislator wondered what could lead Rev. Kusi-Boateng to create another identity for himself.
“He has two different dates of birth. His document with Victor Kusi-Boateng claims to be born in September 1961. In the other documents particularly passports bearing the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, he says that he was born in December 1969.
“So you see a person deliberately trying to create a different personality and identity. It’s not the case of just a mere name change, you see different dates of birth, profession and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and these are all illegal,” he said on Monday.
Ablakwa wondered what was responsible for the double identity.
“And really why is he creating two personalities? Who is he running from? Who is he hiding from? Why is he violating all our law? You know you can’t have multiple documents but he does. Is he wanted? What is going on here?”
Mr Ablakwa has accused Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng, who doubles as the founder of Power Chapel Worldwide, of conflict of interest including possession of multiple identities among other suspicious dealings.
In an earlier post last week, the former Deputy Minister questioned the payment of GH¢2.6 million to a company named JNS Talent Centre Limited.
According to him, Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng is a director of JNS Talent Centre and cannot be receiving funds from the National Cathedral Project to himself.
“For the avoidance of doubt, there is no distinct Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. Kwabena Adu Gyamfi is a criminal creation of Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng. The two are therefore one and the same,” he wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Mr Ablakwa has called for the immediate resignation of the Secretary.
