American rapper, Tobechukwu Dubem Nwigwe, known widely as Tobe Nwigwe, has expressed his excitement about his nomination for the Grammys.
He has been nominated in the best new artiste category.
According to the rapper, he will never be the same if he wins.
“I’m definitely looking forward to it, I’m extremely shocked that they had the audacity to nominate me. And if we bring it home, it will be insane. I will never be the same again. This version of me will be no more. It’s going to be a a different feel,” he told JoyNews’ Becky in an interview.
This is Tobe's first Grammy nomination.
The rapper who also doubles as a singer and actor, co-stars in the Netflix television series Mo.
He performed for the first time in Ghana at the Black Star Line festival with his pregnant wife, Martica "Fat" Nwigwe.
