Humanitarian journalist with The Multimedia Group, Seth Kwame Boateng has been celebrated at the just-ended Ghana Leadership Awards.
The JoyNews journalist was honoured with the Innovation and Initiative Award in Journalism of the Year.
Prior to naming Kwame Boateng for the category, the Ghana Leadership Awards described the award-winning journalist as one who has committed himself to the service of the country, and which others must emulate.
“One thing that cannot be taken away from you is your impeccable human relations and readiness to listen and serve the people to their expectations. Research by the Analytical Centre of Ghana Leadership Awards has found your advancements of human lives over the years for that matter, Ghana’s welfare and its good economic stability.
“You are a person with a very great honour who has made a vital contribution to the growth and development of humanity in Ghana,” parts of the correspondence read.
The Ghana Leadership Awards with the motto ‘’Love your country, love your people” is an annual event that acknowledges and celebrates outstanding and exemplary leadership that has a significant and a positive impact in advancing Ghana and Africa.
This year’s event was held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
The hero honouring event also celebrated other influential people including Kennedy Agyapong, IGP Dr George Dampare, some chiefs and and some former Supreme Court Justices.
