One of December’s much-anticipated musical events Wildaland Festival has been cancelled.
The organisers, in a press release, noted that the festival was cancelled because of circumstances beyond their control.
This comes after they announced that the event was set to take place on December 26 and 27 2022 at the Shai Forest Reserve.
The festival’s social media pages had been flooded with videos of the organisers prepping the show for its second edition following its success in 2021.

However, the organisers say the show cannot come off as promised. But, they noted that they expect to return in 2023.
“Music, lifestyle and clean climate future-focused festival, WILDALAND festival 2022 has been cancelled. The festival announced its Eco-Action Fan Village as well a series of activities meant to raise climate change awareness among young people and event attendants consistent with the festival’s commitment to a clean climate future,” parts of the statement read.
Meanwhile, they have assured patrons who have already purchased early bird tickets they would receive a refund.
Wildaland Festival first came off in December 2021. The who was headlined by Davido.
Also present was Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Adekunle Gold, Gyakie, Focalistic among others.
