The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Import Bank (GEXIM), Lawrence Agyinsam, has hosted Heads of Government Departments and Agencies at the GEXIM MiG Town, located on the Ground Floor of the Africa Trade House, Accra.
They included the Chief Executive Officers of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Food and Drugs Authority, Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ghana Enterprises Agency, Ghana Export Promotion Authority and representatives from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, National Coordination Office of AfCFTA, National Development Planning Commission and Ghana Standards Board.
The GEXIM MiG Town is an outlet that stocks assorted, innovative and well packaged Made-In-Ghana products including food and ingredients, beverages, skin and beauty care products, textiles, apparel, garments, leather footwear and slippers and many others.
Opened to the general public from Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm, GEXIM MiG Town is designed to be a one-stop shop for everything Made-In-Ghana.
The visit to GEXIM MiG Town by the CEOs took place after the inauguration of a thirteen member Steering Committee of the National Export Development Strategy (NEDS) to ensure oversight for the effective implementation of the Strategy by the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Herbert Krapa.
The Steering Committee is charged to achieve the target of accruing $25.3 billion in revenue from non-traditional exports by 2029.
