The biggest outdoor party in the whole of Africa, the annual Skuuls Reunion, makes a big return after many years of repackaging, poised to prove it has not lost the shine in any of its many accolades.
Skuuls Reunion returns after a five-year break and is now spearheaded by Hitz FM, a sister brand of Joy FM, with the support of all the brands from the Multimedia Group.
According to the General Manager for Sales and Customer Service, David Max-Fugar, this change was necessitated by the change in the demographics and psychographics of the patrons of the event, and there is also the promise of outdooring additional offerings soon to satisfy the needs of other outstanding cohorts.
And come Saturday, November 26, the gathering of old school pals will rock the capital’s El Wak Sports Stadium, packing all the fun-filled and exciting experiences known to be associated with it.
From 10 am when it kicks off on Saturday, games like the five-a-side soccer competition, arm wrestling, 50-metre dash, tug-of-war, and jama competition, plus the newly introduced wine glass & tissue challenge and water cup challenge will take centre stage.
The games and competitions will ease off into a rap competition, which itself will blend into the evening of great music and dances.

Household acts Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene and Keche will lead the star-studded list of artistes to dish out danceable and favourite tunes, with the trio of DJs Andy Dosty, Black and Bredash mixing things at the turntables to do what they do best.
Individual old students whose performances will be adjudged best will win the amazing prizes to be at stake for their alma mater, plus, organisers have promised mouth-watering prizes to all participating schools.
Over the years, the annual Skuuls Reunion has served as the platform that unites former schoolmates and classmates, with friends who may have been separated and never seen each other for decades, coming together once again, for fun, and to share fond memories of school days. Here is where their voices blend into otherwise forgotten catcalls, guy names and forbidden chants.
But there is also business to be done, for beyond the fun, mates catch up on how fairly or otherwise life has dealt dear ones, and what opportunities may avail good friends.

The group policy which covers the death of the policyholder, the spouse and two dependents, also provides ready intervention in times of critical illness (conditions or sicknesses in which death is possible or likely to occur), as well as total permanent disability (anything a policyholder should reasonably be able to do based on training, education or experience but cannot do because of damage to an organ or a limb).
The policy aims to help members deal with perils and losses when they happen, it also standardises the payout in times of bereavement and losses, as well as foster brotherliness by ensuring that a member has a fallback when scheduled association dues or emergency fundraisers are announced.
