Joy Prime, one of the brands under the Multimedia Group Limited has been honoured by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).
The television station that offers the ultimate experience won the Tourism Oriented Media (TV) of the Year 2021 in the National Tourism Awards. The award is in recognition of the impact made by 'Joy Prime Explore', one of its shows that promotes tourim. 'Explore' is hosted by Kojo Yankson.
Ghana Tourism Authority in a citation accompanying the award noted that, “Joy Prime has over the years been in the forefront in the delivery of quality education, information and marketing of tourism and tourism related products in the country.”
According to the Authority, the TV station also features and broadcasts a variety of events on its channel on a regular basis.
"In addition to the above, you regularly feature tourist sites by informing and educating the public."
GTA further commended Joy Prime's efforts in promoting and educating the citizenry on hospitality and tourism-related businesses in the country.
“For these and more, the Ghana Tourism Authority recognizes you and duly confers on you Joy Prime Explore, the Tourism Oriented Media - Television of the year 2021,” stated GTA in their citation to Joy Prime.
