Accra Hearts of Oak will on November 30, this year organise its General Meeting (GM).
The meeting is aimed at reviewing the accounts of the club for the 2021/22 financial year.
The GM has been delayed by two years, due to 'Number 12', a documentary into alleged match-fixing and corruption which halted football activities and ushered the governance of football in the country to a Normalisation Commitee, and the COVID-19 pandemic per Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV.
Aside the financial review, the GM is eexpected to revamp the club's board which has been in existence since 2011.
The longevity of the board many believe has contributed to the frustration of the supporters which has led to a discord between the club and other stakeholders, especially, fans.
At a press conference on Wednesday, some fans expressed their reservations about the club's static leadership for past decade, delayed General Meeting, and the frustration about the non-existence of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Togbe Afede XIV, who has been Executive Chairman in the last two years, indicates he will continue to be in that role till the club finds an individual with the quality to take over.
