Ghanaians on social media have a lot to say about Adansi Asokwa legislator, Kobina Tahir Hammond, today.
The Member of Parliament had taken exception to the reception received by President Akufo-Addo at the Global Citizen Festival.
On September 24, the President was booed by the youth while delivering a speech in line with the organisers' mission.

However, KT Hammond sees the move as disrespectful on the part of the attendees.
He insists that there are more appropriate channels of getting their concerns heard, adding that the event was not a political platform m to merit such uproar.
But social media users are of a different view.
One of them shared on Twitter that this should be the new trend because "how many tyms do they talk abt our demonstrations?"
"They don't talk about it cos they don't even care, but look at how they are all pained at the booing. How can KT Hammond disrespect us all?," the user posted on the microblogging site.
Fellow youths, i think booing at dem should be de new trend anytime they mount a stage. Cos how many tyms do they talk abt our demonstrations? They dont talk about it cos they dont even care, but look at how they are all pained at the booing. How can KT Hammond disrespect us all? https://t.co/M1lb0QjcEj

They think we have even had it easy to even have a say in national discussions
Left to them, some 24 elders in a room should make every decision about Ghana for the 30.8m of all of us
Booing the president is bad but when they made a huge green E-levy cake, made merry around it and mocked the sweat of the average Ghanaian it wasn’t uncouth erh. You pick and choose what favors your useless age-earned respect

KT Hammond dey talk sey youth no fit run this country dey funny me. If you see how our nation is run, it is absolutely embarrassing for our so called leaders cos the answers are painfully obvious. They just can't stop themselves from making dumb decisions after dumb decisions
