Makeup Ghana, the organiser of the annual Ghana Beauty Awards (GBA), has announced nominees for the 2022 Edition at the Ecobank Head office in Accra.

The announcement was made by the CEO of the company Rebecca Donkor during an entrepreneurship capacity building Dubbed: Beauty and Entrepreneurship Summit.

The awards night will take place on November 12, at Labadi Beach Hotel where top industry players and companies will be awarded.

The Awards which is in its 6th edition aimed at championing excellence in service delivery within the makeup and beauty industry.

It also seeks to raise the performance bar by awarding stakeholders who have distinguished themselves, thus creating healthy competition, shaping conduct as well as raising the image and reputation of the Industry.

As an Industry Award, the Board together with the organisers agrees on the categories to award.

 The works and profiles of applicants were vetted, and the shortlisted nominees went through three stages which include, judging, public voting, interviews, and due diligence for the final selection of winners in each category.

These works and profiles will go through vigorous vetting and deserving applicants are shortlisted as Award nominees.

 The nominees are informed and officially announced to the public. There are three stages involved in selecting winners from the nominees. Stage 1 is the “Judging Stage” which is executed by industry and category experts selected by the Board.
