Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo has expressed his unhappiness with the side's lack of killer instinct after the stalemate with Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
The Burkinabe gaffer watched his side draw 1-1 with the Phobians, having had chances to put the game to bed at the Baba Yara Stadium.
In a post-match interview, Zerbo was pleased with his team's performance but bemoaned their wastefulness in front of goal.
"I’m very happy for our performance [against Hearts of Oak] but we still need to work on our finishing. We were disappointed when they equalized but we will go back to plan towards the next games,” he stated.
It was Kotoko's first match in the Ghana Premier League this season following their earlier involvement in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The 24-time champions take on Nsoatreman FC in an outstanding fixture on Wednesday.
